Sensor pockets and compression fittings RPL50-TW

In many applications the RPL-P and RPL-T sensors need to be mounted in a fixed position within a unit, for example a pipe or other vessel. Sensor pockets and compression fittings make this a relatively simple procedure.

Sensor pockets are ideal for applications where the sensor may need to be removed from time to time, as the sensor can be removed without the need to drain down the whole system. However the additional thermal mass of the pocket will slow down the speed of response of the sensor. Compression fittings allow a faster speed of response , but if the sensor needs to be replaced, then the system may need to be drained first.
