Electronica & Productronica exhibition - Shanghai
Rhopoint Asia had a successful initial exhibition at the Electronica and
Productronica exhibition in Shanghai March 16 - 18. This exhibition is one
of the leading regional trade fairs for electronc components, assemblies

High power, high precision shunt resistors
The new range of high precision high power shunt resistors, now available from Rhopoint Components is ideal for battery testing during manufacture. At present the series comprises nine models with current ranges from 150A to 1000A. All models supply 100mV at full current rating. The voltage output is available via a Kelvin connected flying lead, which enables a resistance tolerance of between 0.1% and 0.5%. More...
UL approval extended to 2800W power resistors
The 1600W - 2800W versions of the IRV series power resistors have just received
UL approval. This now extends the availability of UL approval on this range
of power resistors from 60W right through to 2800W. The IRV1600-2800 models
are very high power, wire wound, metal clad resistors. The resistor elements
of these models are fully encased in an extruded aluminium housing which
provides strong and rugged protection. Standard options for this resistor
series include flying leads or tab terminals and inductive or non-inductive
windings. Custom options include: Flying lead terminations, internal thermostats
